Contents & Index from the Help command on the menu bar is an alternative way to get help.

To get help using this method,
Click Help on the

Contents Tab
This screen is like the table of contents of a book listing different help topics and subtopics.

Click the Contents Tab, if necessary.

Double Click "Installing and Removing Word" The "Help Topics: Microsoft Word" window appears with a series of topics.

A book icon indicates subtopics exist.

A question mark icon represents a subtopic.

Double Click "Add-in programs" subtopic

The text for this subtopic appears on your screen.

Click

Word returns you to the "Help Topics: Microsoft Word" window.

Now you try it! Switch to Word.
